• The currency of Croatia was the Croatian kuna, but from 2023 they switched to the Euro

Accessibility:

• Budapest (M7)-Zagreb-Split highway, then leaving the highway, drive 30 km and cross the bridge to reach Vir. Vir island: bus station, 20 km from International airport

Boundary line:

• From 01.01.2023, Croatia joined the Schengen agreement, so we can travel freely in and out of the country, without border and customs checks

Vir island coastline:

• the island is 12 km long and max. 2 km wide. Varied coast, which is 30 km long: rocky, pebbly, sandy.
